Here at the Bedford Creative Concern, we employ a process called Water Transfer Printing. Also known as Immersion Printing, or Hydrographics, this is a printing technique that uses pre-printed graphic images and the surface tension of water to allow for the application of these graphic images onto virtually any three dimensional object. In general, this process can be used on any object that can be painted AND submerged in water. Objects made from plastics, metals, wood, and glass are perfect candidates for the Water Transfer Printing process.
Common items that can undergo the Water Transfer Printing process are Motorcycle parts-from tanks, to horn covers, to wheels, Automotive parts-from valve covers, to exterior grills, to center consoles, to wheels, Items from the Home and Workplace-from cabinet doors, to baseboards, to finishing trim, to, of course, lighting. Other items perfect for customization are firearm parts, helmets for any activity, hard hats, tools, cell phone cases, skateboards, snowboards, ATV parts, bicycle parts, and boat parts. Your imagination is the limit on what we can customize for you.
So, due to the particular characteristics of any given project and the shear variety of items that can undergo the Water Transfer Printing process, we forgo a strict price list. However, to give you an idea, we charge $30 to customize a motorcycle horn cover, $6 each, with a minimum of 6, for wall plates (for light switches, outlets, etc.), or $20 for one side of a ceiling fan blade.
